How to collect a deposit on a proposal
A deposit can be a card charge on the proposal through your Stripe or PayTR account, or a bank transfer the client says they sent. OfferNeo does not check the bank.
A deposit on a proposal is money the client pays on the proposal page, before the rest of the job is billed. On 1 November 2026, results for collecting a deposit inside a proposal were feature and help pages. Several of those pages charge the card in the same step as a signature. On OfferNeo, acceptance and payment are separate settings.
Set what the page collects
Payment collection on a proposal is a deposit, the full amount, or no payment. Full payment sets the deposit to 100%. No payment skips checkout. After the client accepts, they see the thank-you page and nothing is charged.
A deposit is a percentage of the total. You can let the client raise that percentage, up to a maximum you set for the organization.
Card checkout on your account
A card payment uses the Stripe or PayTR account the business connected. The charge is processed there. OfferNeo records the result.
PayTR checkout needs a verified custom domain on the proposal. PayTR also limits checkout to TRY, USD, EUR, GBP, and RUB. For another currency, use Stripe or a bank transfer.
Stripe can refuse one charge that is above its limit for that currency. Lower the deposit percentage, or switch that proposal to PayTR or a bank transfer.
A bank transfer is the client's statement
With bank transfer, the client sees the bank details you saved, including the bank name, the account name, and the IBAN. OfferNeo does not see the transfer arrive. The client confirms after they pay. You match that confirmation to your own bank records.
A completed card payment can be recorded from the Stripe or PayTR result. A completed bank transfer is that confirmation. Telegram and an email can tell you the amount, the currency, and whether it was a deposit or the full amount.
Send the page
Put the proposal on one URL and send it by email or WhatsApp. The open record is separate from the payment. The guide on an opened proposal lists those fields. Service businesses use the page to take a deposit after a visit. Freelancers have their own page. Plan prices are on the pricing page.
The free plan is 3 proposals a month for 1 user, and it does not ask for a card.
